DIY (electric) Gate Automation Kits:

Installation of automatic gates is not straightforward. Good installers have many years of experience and training. However, we do offer a swing gate automation kit which has been developed as a ‘one size fits
all’ system for the DIY installer.

The 12VDC low voltage XNODO is suitable for residential swing gates up
to 2.5m (400KG) each leaf, across up to a 5m entrance, with the
following unique features:

1. Each motor is quickly fitted to the gate post of pillar with a two piece arm to bolt or weld to the gate, and a manual release on board each motor is provided (incase of power failure).

2. Each motor has internal limit switches which are adjustable. This is very useful if no ground stops can be fitted in the closing and/or opening position as limit switches can be set to accurately stop the motor at a preferred position (great for sloping drives)

3. Uniquely, the control board is not housed separately, but inside one of the motors. It is already connected to motor 1 and is connected by 2 wires across the driveway motor 2.

4. All settings are configured automatically using the ‘self learn’ button. Soft start, slowdown, open and close times, auto-close and leaf delay
(to avoid collision on closing) are all pre-set in the memory.
